General - We can all Learn something

I dont know about you but I have lots and lots of different emails coming in everyday from other
people marketing on the net, Why?

well I never know what I might learn, sometimes, I get regular emails, some of the bigger names
send out everyday, so often you over look their emails because you see the smae name every day.

Now this happend to me today, but I was browsing thru my inbox, and a subject line caught my eye, it was simple, but then these things always are, Now i have seen all tthe subject lines you can imagine over 5yrs, but this little beauty really worked, not only that, the contents worked on me before I even realised it had.

What was the Subject line? "Ian my Goof"

Now I had to read what the goof was.

The content said " Ian I didn't mean to call you "Anthony"
I have had a rough morning mixing up emails lol ;)
Happens to the best of us!"

You see it still keeps you hanging, if i had read the email, i would have known about the goof and dismissed this email, But I had not read the mail, it got me to go back and read the last email from this person, to see what the goof was.

So so simple, why oh why can I not come up with these simple things. i guess thats why this person is making more online than I am, but hey I am very quick to learn.

So read your mail, even if you just browse it, read other peoples blogs, newsletters etc, it is stacked full of marketing knowledge, all free for the taking, read and learn, read and learn.
